For November 2012, I decided to do a project that incorporates (1) subjects on the ground (2) shooting straight down at an object (3) shooting at a very low angle. My friend Katherine actually came up with the name for this project -- "Down & Dirty". Below are my favorites from the month.
The highlight of my week was visiting with an old friend from grade school. She was visiting from California and I was fortunate enough to be able to spend an entire day with her. It was awesome! Now to the links.

Some friends and I participated in the Houston Color Run 5k a couple of weekends ago and what an experience it was. Our team was named Full Spectrum and we got to wear funny socks and sunglasses. It was a blast and I definitely want to do it in years to come.

Additional Information
My friend and I recently took a spontaneous day trip to Austin. Fun fun times! We started off with lunch at Wheatsville. Then walked all around the UT area and took photos followed by editing time at Starbucks. Last, but not least, dinner at the Mellow Mushroom. We were on the road back to Houston around 10pm. Needless to say, the gym was not a pleasant experience the next day.
