I decided to try my hand at photographing some of the Barrel Races at the Red Pony Arena back in October. I was a little late and then the heat started to get to me, so I quit a little early, so I didn’t get everyone racing. Next time.

Animal Alliance Howl-O-Ween Fest 2016

The Animal Alliance of Galveston County, who does so much for the shelter and rescue world, held their annual Howl-O-Ween Fest on Saturday, October 15/2016. In addition to low-cost vaccinations, there were several vendors, shelters, pony rides, a petting zoo, teddy bear surgeries and even monkeys Sasha, Cody and Darwin from MS Monkeys Emporium! It was a great event.

Caitlin's Last Homecoming

Back in late September I took photos of my cousin's daughter Caitlin (and friends) before her last Homecoming. I cannot believe she is a Senior. Time flies!

Special Olympics - Gulf Coast

Back in May, I had the honor of helping to photograph a Special Olympics event at Sam Vitanza Stadium in Dickinson. It was a wonderful experience! To see the joy on those kid's faces is an experience by itself.

There were many groups from around the Dickinson area participating. Here is the host team...the Dickinson Gators.

This is an experience I'll likely never forget and I recommend that every photographer work an event like this at least once.
