This week we took a day trip to Prescott and visited the Museum of Indigenous People. They had an exhibit called Rez Dogs which really grabbed my attention. Below are some of the rescues that work with the reservation’s stray dogs. I think it is important to recognize these organizations.

I enjoy transforming my own photos or great (non-professional) shots others take of their pets into digital art. Sometimes, I combine multiple photos to create a single piece, like the first image below. Creating these digital art images is something I find really fun, so I try to do it often. Wickenburg, AZ | Shelter Dog Sessions

I photographed these dogs during the first half of August. All of these dogs are looking for a loving home. They have all been through an ordeal and deserve the best in life. Please consider shelters and rescues when adding a dog or cat to your family.

La Paz County Shelter Dogs - 08/20/2024

Parker, AZ | Shelter Dog Sessions

Friday, August 16th was a hot day in Parker, Arizona. The dogs I took photos of that day were so sweet that they made my heart melt. All of these dogs are looking for a loving home. They have all been through an ordeal and deserve the best in life. Please consider shelters and rescues when adding a dog or cat to your family.

Salome-Wenden, AZ | Family Session

It was a gorgeous evening in the desert, and we chose a blooming almond orchard as the perfect backdrop for this beautiful family's photos. We had a great time getting baby Lloyd to smile and capturing some fun action shots as Catherine and Tyler ran toward the camera. It was an honor to photograph this wonderful family.
