Shelter Photo Summary - Weeks of January 25 & February 1 2016

Things have been a little crazy since I've taken on a new part-time job. Luckily, the job happens on some afternoons, so I still get to do what I love to do with the shelter animals. I made it out to League City and Dickinson a couple of times in the last two weeks. I also made it to Nassau Bay to take photos of a couple of cuties for them as well.

I took photos of another dog for LCAS that was picked up recently and named Belinda. The photos had been shared to a couple of different groups on Facebook. Someone saw the photos and shared them with a friend of theirs that had lost their dog almost a year ago. The girl came to the shelter to see if Belinda was hers. I was told that she had not even brought a leash because she had been disappointed so many times in the past year. Well, this time she was not disappointed and was reunited with her Lulu. What a happy ending!

Family/Pet Session - Trover Family

Date: 12/24/15 | Location: Challenger Park, Webster

It was a mild and humid day at the park with this wonderful family. The whole family being in town does not happen often, so they figured it was time for family photos. They were all great, but I have to say little Madison and their two dogs, Skye and Major stole the show.

Went to LCAS on Tuesday morning. It was pretty cold out, but we still got a few dogs photographed. Woof!

Max has been adopted and Tarzan, Thelma & Boomer were adopted before I even had their photos done, LOL. Anneliese came back from a Foster-to-Adopt after SIX months...because she is shy and standoffish. <SMH>

I will leave you with this wonderful video my staff and volunteer friends at League City Animal Shelter made for Volunteer Appreciation.
