We arrived around 4:15PM and waited for the Sun to get a little lower in the sky so we would have better lighting at the part of the park we were taking the main photos. In the meantime, we went to a couple of other parts of the park. Raina is a beautiful young girl and was pretty patient with us.

A beautiful Monday afternoon. Temperatures were in the 60's. I'm starting to like Challenger Park because there are more options in the mid-day hours when the sunlight is harsh. This was a senior session for Michael, general session for Christopher and both brothers. Both are very nice young men.

A beautiful, yet windy Sunday following an extremely rainy Saturday. I arrived at 3pm and we planned to take photos inside in front of the fireplace with both pets. I was able to get one shot before Pebbles (the cat) said...that's it! LOL. After that we drove to a residence a couple of miles away that is situated on the water. The dog, Daisy, was such a good girl and cooperated rather well for the photos. Great couple...awesome dog! :)
I made it to two shelters this week. As always, so many beautiful homeless pets up for adoption. If I could, I'd take a few myself. Shelter breakdown follows.

Fighting sickness this week, but was able to get out and help three shelters and one rescue with photos. So many beautiful dogs and cats out there. I love volunteering my time to take photos of homeless animals. It's good for the soul.

These two sweet girls were such good sports even though it was cold outside. They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. You can tell they love each other and the humans around them.
