Bayou Animal Services put together a really cool play area for their cats. It is an ideal place for the kitties to stretch their legs and get some exercise.

Shelter Photo Summary - Week of February 8 2016
Made it out to League City on Tuesday for my normal photos and again on Thursday morning to take photos of Buck who was back at the shelter after five months. Such an awesome dog! I also took photos of Adrianna, a beautiful Presa, leaving for rescue. Webster met me on Thursday morning at the park to take photos of six doggies. Busy week!

2016 Wagging Microchip Tailgate Party
Bayou Animal Services had their Wagging Microchip Tailgate Party event last weekend. Among the offerings were low cost vaccines, pet adoptions and microchips. There were also girl scout cookies and free hot dogs. They had such a good turnout they ran out of microchips.
Below are the photos I took at this wonderful event.

Shelter Photo Summary - Weeks of January 25 & February 1 2016
Things have been a little crazy since I've taken on a new part-time job. Luckily, the job happens on some afternoons, so I still get to do what I love to do with the shelter animals. I made it out to League City and Dickinson a couple of times in the last two weeks. I also made it to Nassau Bay to take photos of a couple of cuties for them as well.

I took photos of another dog for LCAS that was picked up recently and named Belinda. The photos had been shared to a couple of different groups on Facebook. Someone saw the photos and shared them with a friend of theirs that had lost their dog almost a year ago. The girl came to the shelter to see if Belinda was hers. I was told that she had not even brought a leash because she had been disappointed so many times in the past year. Well, this time she was not disappointed and was reunited with her Lulu. What a happy ending!
