My Heart's Work - 08 2019

I started taking photos of shelter animals in April of 2013 and have been pretty consistent with it through the years. I started with the League City Animal Shelter now League City Pets Alive…added the Webster Animal Shelter in June of 2014…Nassau Bay in May of 2015…Bayou Animal Services in October of 2015…Bay Area Pet Adoptions in December of 2016. There were also a couple of rescues added to my list in 2019. They were Ranger’s Reach and Albert’s Dog Lounge.

Below is a video slideshow I created of all the shelter babies I photo’d this month for the above mentioned shelters. The link to a gallery will also be provided below.

Each and every one of these babies are so deserving of better … more love, more understanding. Hopefully by the time I make this post each month most, if not all, are in loving homes. That is my hope.

What a fun family to photograph! A very nice couple and their four amazing fur-babies (Echo, Bella, Sydney and Jayda)! It was a warm and humid evening, but what fun it was.

Hailie Jade, Alfred and Claire

08/22/19 | Residence – Houston TX | Pet Session

This was a difficult session. Hailie crossed the Rainbow Bridge the next day. My heart breaks for her people and she she will surely be missed by her partners Alfred and Claire. Run free Hailie Jade.

Tricia's Post Transformation

This lady right here…has made an amazing health and fitness transformation. I was asked to take her post transformation photos at the gym. I have known Tricia for a few years now…first just through social media which turned into taking photos of her home….then her family. She is an inspiration.
