Shelter Summary - Week of August 24, 2015

Normal shelter photos and then the Paws and Claws Adopt-a-thon made for a very busy week. It is so good to see dogs and cats go to good homes. I believe all but one of the doggies below that I took photos of this week found a home at the Adopt-a-thon.

Shelter Summary - Week of August 17, 2015

I made it to the League City Animal Shelter twice this week. So many awesome dogs and cats that are looking for homes. I would have liked to have done more, but the rainy weather was a major factor this week...and I became ill mid-week.

After I got over my illness, I was able to make it to the Baybrook Petsmart for a little bit on Sunday to take some shots of LCAS volunteers and animals in action.

Child Photo Session - Serenity

Date: 5/6/15 | Location: Helen's Garden -- League City

This was my first time to take photos for a pageant portfolio.  This little girl was awesome in front of the camera.

Shelter Summary - Week of August 10, 2015

I was fortunate to be able to spend more time for the shelters than normal. Monday, I picked up Tracker from LCAS and took him to the park for a couple of hours (blog post). If it would not have been so hot, I would have kept him out there much longer.

Blog Post: My Morning With Tracker

Tuesday, I did my normal weekly photos for the League City shelter.

Wednesday, I dropped by LCAS for a couple of hours in the afternoon and took some volunteer/animal photos.

Thursday, I met Amanda Trover at the park for Webster Animal Shelter photos.

Today, I dropped by the LCAS's Baybrook Petsmart adoption event.

My Morning With Tracker

I woke up on Monday and decided that I wanted to take Tracker (one of the awesome dogs at LCAS) to the park. He rode really well in the car. We went to Walter Hall Park. I put him on my 30 foot leash and he seemed to have a lot of fun running and exploring. After the park, we went through the Starbuck drive-thru...iced green tea for me and a puppy whip for him. He, of course, loved it. It was extremely difficult to return him to the shelter. I wish I could take him. I would have kept him out all day if it were not so darn hot outside. ❤ 😊
