My Heart's Work - 10 2019

I started taking photos of shelter animals in April of 2013 and have been pretty consistent with it through the years. I started with the League City Animal Shelter now League City Pets Alive…added the Webster Animal Shelter in June of 2014…Nassau Bay in May of 2015…Bayou Animal Services in October of 2015…Bay Area Pet Adoptions in December of 2016. There were also a couple of rescues added to my list in 2019. They were Ranger’s Reach and Albert’s Dog Lounge.

Below is a video slideshow I created of all the shelter babies I photo’d this month for the above mentioned shelters. The link to a gallery will also be provided below.

Each and every one of these babies are so deserving of better … more love, more understanding. Hopefully by the time I make this post each month most, if not all, are in loving homes. That is my hope.

Lilly and Amanda

10/17/19 – League City TX | Family/Pet Session

I had such a fun time with these two! Lilly is a very smart and well-trained fur-kid. I just love the way she interacts with Amanda. So sweet! That little face is to die for .. and Amanda is a beautiful person inside and out.

A great session with these three. Handsome, cute, adorable…just a few words to describe JD, Ryland and little Ava. They were troopers and the weather was overcast, but pleasant.

Family Session | The Philpot Family

Date: 11/29/16 | Location: Eagle Springs - Humble, TX

This session was originally scheduled for the previous day, but the threat of rain and major wind made it necessary to postpone one day. This mother and daughter were so delightful to work with. I truly believe I was able to capture their personality well and I am grateful to have met them both.
