Went to LCAS on Tuesday morning. It was pretty cold out, but we still got a few dogs photographed. Woof!

Max has been adopted and Tarzan, Thelma & Boomer were adopted before I even had their photos done, LOL. Anneliese came back from a Foster-to-Adopt after SIX months...because she is shy and standoffish. <SMH>

I will leave you with this wonderful video my staff and volunteer friends at League City Animal Shelter made for Volunteer Appreciation.

Shelter Photo Summary - Week of January 11 2016

Made it to LCAS for our normal Tuesday morning photo shoot. I was also able to meet at Walter Hall Park to take photos of some Webster dogs. So many homeless animals...but I'm optimistic they will make it into loving homes.

Tipton Creative Shelter Photos - 2015 in Review

2015 was a big year for adoption rates and a big year in shelter photos. I'm not sure about all the shelters I take photos for, but the League City Animal Shelter, announced they had 1,254 adoptions in 2015. This is phenomenal!

I photographed a total of 613 animals for League City Animal Shelter, Webster Animal Shelter, Nassau Bay Animal Shelter and Bayou Animal Services in 2015. The photo number breakdown is below.

I was honored to be featured in the Galveston County Daily News earlier this year. Taking photos of homeless animals is something I love to do. It makes my heart and my soul smile. I know the photos do not always get them into a home, but I truly believe it gives those babies a significantly better chance....which is what it's all about.

Another moment of accomplishment for me in 2015 was when the Webster Animal Shelter used my photos for their fairly large banner...the banner that they put on display at events! I almost came to tears the first time Amanda Trover showed it to me.

In closing, 2015 was a huge year and I'm looking forward to 2016. Happy New Year!

I will leave you with some of my favorite shots from the year.
